The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided at least four premises associated with the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in Malappuram, Kerala, early on Friday (April 4).
The simultaneous raids commenced around 3 a.m. and were continuing, according to the Kerala Police.
The NIA has reportedly detained at least four persons, including SDPI workers and some goldsmiths.
In March, the NIA had arrested SDPI national president M.K. Faizy.
It accused the SDPI of receiving funds from the proscribed Popular Front of India (PFI).
