A woman identified as Priyanka (25) was allegedly murdered at her residence at BC Colony of Kodalamadugu village in Bangarupalem mandal on Saturday (August 16, 2025). According to the police, the woman’s husband Haribabu, a farm worker, who is absconding after the incident is the suspect. The eyewitness told the Bangarupalem police that Haribabu had been suspecting his wife of infidelity for a few months now. He allegedly killed his wife by slitting her throat and left the house in an agitated state. A police team rushed to the spot and collected clues. The body was sent to area hospital for post-mortem, and a special team was formed to track down the absconding husband.
