A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death over a drunken brawl over a trivial row at S.V. Concrete plant situated in Kumbalagodu Industrial Area on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Amith Rajbagh, a native of Uttar Pradesh and working as a labourer. He had come to the plant along with his friend Akash to talk to one Ravi. The duo was drunk and had a fight with Ravi, in the melee, Ravi and Askash ganged up and attacked Amith with a sharp object that killed him on the spot. The murder came to light when the factory supervisor noticed Amith lying dead in a pool of blood and alerted his seniors before calling the police.
The police rushed to the spot and took Ravi and Akash into custody for questioning. The police are probing further to ascertain the cause of the murder .
