Bottled water was supplied to passengers travelling in the ‘General’ coaches of various trains, for the third consecutive day at Duvvada Railway Station on Friday. The water bottles were distributed under the aegis of Manava Vikasa Vedika general secretary MSN Murthy and ZRUCC Member Kanchurmurthi Eswar, under RPF supervision.
The trains halt only for two minutes at Duvvada Railway Station and it’s difficult for passengers to fill their bottles at the station. A total of 500 mineral water bottles of 500 ml each were distributed to passengers travelling by General coaches, including ‘Divyanjan’ and ‘ladies’ coaches.
Duvvada Railway Station Users Association president Jashuva, Manava Vikasa Samstha representatives Bhaskara Raju, Ramamani, Rajeswara Rao and Spoorthy were among those who distributed the water bottles.
