The jallikattu event organised at Thiruvarangulam in the district on Friday left 30 persons injured. As many as 635 bulls were released during the course of the event which lasted over seven hours. The number of participating tamers were 210.
Four among the injured were referred to the Pudukottai Government Medical College Hospital, while the remaining 26 were treated as out-patients at the event venue, said police sources.
