Businessman stabbed to death by nephews in Hyderabad: Attack linked to ongoing property dispute; probe on

HYDERABAD: A 36-year-old businessman was stabbed to death by his nephews due to a property dispute at the victim’s room in Barkas on Thursday evening. Police launched a manhunt to nab offenders.

The deceased was Salam Bin Syed Baffana. At around 6 pm, when he was in a room at Rohelwaadi near Peeli Dargah in Barkas, his nephews attacked him with knives and killed him on spot. Chandrayangutta police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital. “Salam Bin Syed Baffna had a property dispute with his elder brother, Mohsin Baffna. They approached the civil court , and the cases are pending in the courts. We have launched a manhunt to nab nephews of victim,” DCP South East Zone S Chaitanya Kumar said.
