Two youths were arrested by the police in Pudukottai on Sunday after a video of them damaging private property near Aranthangi was released on social media.
According to press note, two men aged 19 and 20 were arrested by the Aranthangi police after their social media video posted on July 4 showed them damaging banners, chairs, and other items kept in front of the shops and creating hinderance to vehicular movement near Kurumbur Othakadai on Aranthangi-Pudukkottai Road during a birthday celebration.

Pudukottai Superintendent of Police Abhishek Gupta said severe action would be taken against persons indulging in such acts.
