Central, State Agencies in Andhra Pradesh Owe ₹5,400 Crore in Property Taxes to Urban Local Bodies

• Central bodies: Rashtriya ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) alone owes GVMC over ₹778 crore on vacant lands and another ₹584 crore in non-residential properties tax arrears-making it the highest defaulter statewide.

– Other large Central defaulters include Visakhapatnam Port Trust with dues of ₹22 crores and South Central Railway with dues worth over₹13 Cro!
