The xAI Memphis data center has 150,000 H100s, 50,000 H200s and 30,000 B200s. This is the equivalent of 400,000 H100s of compute. An H200 is double the compute of an H100 and a B200 is fives times the compute of a H100. This is the compute used to train Grok 3.5.
xAI is about to bring 110,000 B200s up at a second Memphis data center. This will have the equivalent of 550,000 H100s of compute. This second AI data center will be expanded to 1 million B200s and B300s.
The one million GPU data center that will be built in 5-9 months will have 5 million to 8 million H100 equivalent compute. This will be 50-80 times the compute used for Grok 3.
Elon thinks there will be about ten deep intelligences made (big data centers). Four of those will be in the United States.
Elon expects superintelligence could happen this year or 2026. This is an AI that is more intelligent than any one human in most things.
