Meanwhile, World championships and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Nitu Ghanghas defeated Manju Rani to enter the 48kg final at the Elite Women’s Boxing Tournament on Monday, setting up a title clash with Chanchal.
World champion Saweety Boora outclassed Babita Bisht 5-0 to make it to the 80kg final, while former youth World champion Ankushita Boro set up a summit clash with Shashi in the 65kg division after beating Amita Kundu by the same scoreline.
