SpaceX is going to make huge advances with fully reusable Super Heavy Starships. A fleet of 100 fully reusable Starships with boosters could transport about 2 million tons per year to orbit. This would be about one thousand times more than last year.
SpaceX is making huge progress in these few months. They are on track to have three Mechazilla launch towers. There are two in Texas and a third is being made in Florida.
They are building two Gigabay buildings, one in Texas and one in Florida. Those buildings will be able to about 24 Starship or boosters each. This will support faster construction.
The US Military is creating two landing areas on Johnston island near Hawaii. This will support the goal of flying and landing a Starship upper stage for under one hour point to point travel anywhere on Earth.
SpaceX will need to create landing legs for the Starship to land on cements pads without a Mechazilla tower to catch.
In 2025, SpaceX has made new Starlink v2 mini satellites that allow them to launch 29 in one Falcon 9. They have been launching 27 at at time in 2025. This is up about 20% from earlier in 2024, with 22-23 Starlink V2 mini satellites.
