Telangana to Honour Weavers, Showcase Textile Heritage on National Handloom Day

Nethannaku Barosa scheme: Provides wage support of up to ₹18k/year for weavers & ₹6k for ancillary workers; currently allotted ₹12.20 crores this financial year.
Pavala Vaddi scheme: Reduces interest burdens on cooperative societies; benefitted about 60 societies at a cost of nearly ₹1.09 crores last year.
