– Oinam Ranjita Devi (38), affiliated with the People’s Liberation army (PLA), was apprehended in Thoubal district for extorting money from schools, shops, and businesses. Documents detailing extortion operations were recovered.
– Ahanthem Surjit Singh (29), also a PLA cadre, was captured in Thoubal district for involvement in extortion activities and recruiting new members.
